Thanks for using FriendScores. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of FriendScores ("we," "us," or "the service"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms.
What FriendScores is
FriendScores is for entertainment only, among consenting adults (18+). It is not therapy, HR, or a formal rating system for anything serious. Keep it light, keep it opt-in, and don't use it to hurt people.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use FriendScores to:
- Harass, bully, threaten, or stalk anyone;
- Post illegal content or encourage illegal activity;
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity in a harmful way;
- Scrape, overload, or try to break the service or other users' accounts.
You agree not to use FriendScores to send messages that are:
- Unlawful or fraudulent;
- Harassing, threatening, or abusive;
- Sexually explicit;
- Related to S.H.A.F.T. content (Sex, Hate, Alcohol, Firearms, or Tobacco).
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules or these Terms.
Scores, comments, and visibility
Scores and comments you submit may be visible to members of your friend groups (and as otherwise described in our app). Don't post anything you wouldn't want those people to see. You are responsible for the content you post.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your login secure. If you think someone else has access to your account, let us know at info@friendscores.com.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if we need to protect users or the service, or if we stop offering FriendScores. You can stop using the app at any time.
Disclaimers
FriendScores is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, to the fullest extent allowed by law.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FriendScores and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service or content posted by you or others. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the greater of (a) what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (if anything) or (b) fifty U.S. dollars ($50), except where prohibited by law.
FriendScores is not responsible for any delays in the receipt of any SMS messages, as delivery is subject to effective transmission from your network operator and other factors outside our control.
SMS Communications
FriendScores allows users to invite friends via SMS. By using this feature, you confirm you have permission to send an SMS to the phone number provided.
By using the 'Invite by Phone' feature, you represent and warrant that you have the recipient's prior express consent to receive a one-time invitation message from FriendScores at the number provided.
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Message frequency varies based on user activity. Standard message and data rates may apply.
You can cancel the SMS service at any time by texting "STOP". After you send "STOP", we will send a confirmation reply and cease further messaging. For assistance, text "HELP" or email info@friendscores.com.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll post the new version here and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
